Mounting/Removing the Saw Blade
- Before carrying out any work on the power tool (e.g. maintenance, tool change etc.), remove the battery from the power tool. There is risk of injury from unintentionally pressing the on/off switch.
- Wear protective gloves when fitting the saw blade. Danger of injury when touching the saw blade.
Asia/Africa/Latin America
- Only use saw blades that match the specifications given in this operating manual and on the power tool.
Removing the Saw Blade (see figure A)
- Loosen the 4 screws (25) using the hex key (11) supplied.
- Remove the base plate (26).
- Press and hold the spindle lock button (2).
- Do not press the spindle lock button (2) while the saw spindle is moving. The power tool may become damaged if you do this.
- Fully unscrew the clamping bolt (27) using the hex key (11).
- Remove the clamping flange (28) and the saw blade (14).
Mounting the Saw Blade (see figure B)
- Clean the saw blade (14) and all the clamping elements to be fitted.
- Put the saw blade (14) on. The cutting direction of the teeth (direction of the arrow on the saw blade) must match the rotational direction of the arrow (1) on the housing. Make sure that the 3 centring pins (29) engage in the drill hole of the saw blade.
- Fit the clamping flange (28) and screw in the clamping bolt (27).
- Press and hold the spindle lock button (2).
- Tighten the clamping bolt (27) with the hex key (11).
- Fit the base plate (26) and screw it on with the 4 screws (25).
